Can I use aluminium foil in the Air Fryer?
Yes you can, however please ensure that it doesn't touch the heating elements and ensure that it is weighted so that it doesn't blow around whilst cooking.
I'm using baking paper - why is it burning?
If there is not enough food in the Air Fryer while cooking (e.g. 1-2 nuggets or fries), the exposed area can get too hot causing baking paper to burn. Additionally, if you are pre-heating your air fryer please do not pre heat with baking paper inside.
Do I have to pre-heat my Air Fryer?
To enjoy perfect results and even cooking, we would recommend pre-heating the air fryer. However, please do not pre heat your air fryer with baking paper inside the unit.
What foods are safe to cook in the Air Fryer?
Great news is - you can cook almost anything and everything in the air fryer. However, some foods we advise avoiding would be; wet batters, leafy greens, raw rice, grains and also avoiding stuffing the basket with too many items at once.
What's the difference between an Air Fryer and a traditional oven?
Both the Air Fryer and traditional convection oven both circulate hot air with a fan. However, as the Air Fryer is smaller in size it allows it to heat up much quicker and also does a better job at removing surface moisture for that incredible texture and crunch.
Do I need to use oil in the Air Fryer?
No, you don't need to use any oil in the Air Fryer. However, some foods can dry out while cooking in the Air Fryer, so a little bit of oil will help to keep food moist.
Is it healthier to use an Air Fryer?
Using the Air Fryer means that you can use up to 90% less oil in your cooking. Not just a great alternative to deep frying food, but also provides a wide range of textures for a variety of ingredients while retaining it's nutritional value.
