An easy recipe that will still bring the wow factor to your Christmas gathering. With just a few ingredients and a couple of fancy folds, these Festive Sausage Rolls offer a festive twist to the classic crowd favourite.

Ingredients

Puff pastry pack
6 Pork sausages
Camembert
Cranberry sauce
1 Egg, whisked
Poppy seeds
40g stuffing mix
75 ml water, boiled
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat your oven to 180.
Pour water into a bowl and add 40 g stuffing mix. Stir well and leave to cool.
Remove sausage meat from sausages and combine with stuffing mix.
Add a heaped tablespoon of cranberry sauce to a piece of puff pastry.
Add 3 slices of camembert and top with sausage meat.
Fold the pastry over the sausage meat and press down the seam. Use a fork the crimp the edge.
Using scissors, make 1"-long cuts, leaving the inner circle of pastry connected. Twist each cut section sausage side up. Brush pastry with remaining egg wash. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake for 25 minutes and serve with tomato sauce!
