Yes you can, however please ensure that it doesn't touch the heating elements and ensure that it is weighted so that it doesn't blow around whilst cooking.
If there is not enough food in the Air Fryer while cooking (e.g. 1-2 nuggets or fries), the exposed area can get too hot causing baking paper to burn.
Additionally, if you are pre-heating your air fryer please do not pre heat with baking paper inside.
If baking or working with ingredients that require a quick first blast of heat then we would recommend pre-heating. Other than that, you typically do not have to pre-heat the Air Fryer.
If pre-heating, please do not pre heat your air fryer with baking paper inside the unit.
