It might be hard to resist, but letting your crumble sit out for at least 5-10 minutes before serving gives time for the fruit or filling to thicken up naturally, making it easier to serve for that perfect balance of juicy filling and satisfying crunch from the topping.

3 medium apples (Granny Smith or Pink Lady), peeled and sliced
2 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon juice
¾ cup The Crumble Corner Take-Home Crumble
1 tbsp butter (optional, for extra richness)
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a Baby Dutch Oven, toss the sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and lemon juice. Let them sit for a few minutes to release their juices.
Sprinkle the Take-Home Crumble over the apples, adding a small dot of butter on top if desired.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until the apples are soft and bubbling, and the crumble is golden and crisp.
Serve warm, straight from the Dutch oven, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
