A great option for your next foodie gathering or a cozy date night in. These churro bites are the perfect size for that satisfying crunch and coated in irresistible lashings of cinnamon sugar.

75ml Water
55g Plain Flour
2 Tsp Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
20g Butter
Pinch of Salt
Cinnamon Sugar
Chocolate (for dipping)
Oil for frying
In your dutch oven over medium heat, mix together water, butter, vanilla and sugar and bring to a boil.
Turn off the heat and fold in flour and salt. Keep folding until a thick paste forms and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes.
Transfer the cooled mixture to a piping bag fitted with a large open star tip.
Pipe churros into the desired size on a lined baking tray. Use kitchen scissors to cut off dough as you pipe from the piping bag.
Fry the churros in oil for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
While warm, roll in cinnamon sugar and serve with melted chocolate.
