In our opinion, the ultimate brekkie combo is the classic Sausage and Egg Muffin. Savoury sausage patties, a runny egg, tasty cheese sandwiched between two soft and toasty muffins - it doesn't get better than that! Recreate our favourite way to kick off the day with our easy recipe below.
Ingredients
- 500g beef mince
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 black pepper
- 6 eggs
- 6 smokey cheese slices
- 6 English muffins, sliced
Directions
To a bowl, add ground beef, salt, thyme, sage, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Mix until well combined and shape into a thin patty. Heat a Crumble Small Fry Pan over medium heat.
Cook the patties until fully cooked and set aside. Cut the English muffins open in half and toast until golden. Set aside.
In your Crumble Fry Pan over medium heat, make the eggs. Crack an egg into an egg mould and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook until the whites are all set and set aside. Assemble each muffin in this order: bottom English muffin, slice of cheese, sausage patty, egg, top English muffin and enjoy!
