Hot Cross Bun Pudding

We all love a good Hot Cross Bun, and if you're low on time and need something that will still wow the crowd at the family get-together, then this is the recipe for you. For this recipe, you can use any Hot Cross Bun you desire, fruit-free, regular, chocolate and more!

Ingredients

6 Hot Cross Buns
Butter
Choice of jam
6 eggs
1/3 cup caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
3/4 cup thickened cream
1 1/2 cups milk
Fresh raspberries & blueberries

Directions

Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease your Crumble Oval Pot with butter.
Cut the buns into half and spread butter and jam on both sides. Arrange the bun bases and bun tops in the prepared pot.
Whisk the eggs, milk, cream, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl. Pour evenly over the buns. Set aside for 10 mins to soak.
Sprinkle with the raspberries and blueberries. Bake for 30-40 mins or until just set. Set aside for 10 mins to stand before serving and enjoy!
