This recipe will not only win over the Easter bunny, but will change the way you see the humble carrot forever. Smoky, crisp and full of wonderful parmesan flavour, these are a must-make for sharing at your next foodie gathering.
Ingredients
- 4-5 medium-large carrots, peeled and chopped into thirds
- Freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Rich Glen Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Pinch of sea salt flakes
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Directions
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Peel and chops carrots. In a large bowl, drizzle olive oil, paprika, onion/garlic powder, chilli and salt. Mix together to create a marinade.
- Add the carrots tot he marinade and toss to combine.
- Grate the cheese and dip the flat sides of the carrots into the cheese. Place the carrots cheese facing downwards into your Crumble Deep Fry Pan. Repeat with all the carrots.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes or until crispy and carrots are fork tender.
- Remove from the oven and flip the carrots over with a spatula.
- Enjoy!
