Smash Burger Tacos

Two comfort foods, smashed together? Doesn't get any more satisfying than that! These tacos offer a satisfying amalgamation of textures, that familiar flavour and not to mention, are cost-effective to make.

Two comfort foods, smashed together? Doesn't get any more satisfying than that! These tacos offer a satisfying amalgamation of textures, that familiar flavour and not to mention, are cost-effective to make.

Ingredients

500g beef mince
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp mixed herbs
1 tsp onion powder
1 pack small flour tortillas
Burger cheese
Lettuce
Pickles

For the Big Mac Sauce

3 tbsp mayonnaise
1/4 cup pickles, chopped
3 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried chives
1/2 onion, sautéed
Salt/pepper to taste

Directions

Sauté the onion until translucent and add to a small bowl with the other sauce ingredients. Mix together until well combined.
Mix the beef with salt/pepper, onion powder and mixed herbs.
Press a thin layer of beef onto the tortillas.
Add a bit of oil to your Crumble Non-Stick Pan and place one tortilla with the beef side down.
Cook for 1-2 minutes then flip. Add cheese and allow the tortilla to brown and get crispy.
Remove from pan and serve with chopped lettuce, pickles and burger sauce.
