Crumble Limited Lifetime Warranty Information

Crumble Cast Iron Range

This product enables the original consumer to be covered by a lifetime warranty in the unlikely situation that your enamelled cast-iron Crumble cookware is found to be faulty upon purchase in its material or construction, or if it develops a fault or defect after proper use, cleaning and storage.  Each Crumble Dutch oven is individually handmade so each product will be slightly different.

Please retain copies of original receipt of purchase direct from manufacturer and ensure care and use instructions are adhered to in order for the warranty to remain valid.

Once your claim is assessed and approved, Crumble agrees to either repair or replace your item free of charge. Please note that replacement cookware may be issued in a different colour to the original purchase, pending stock availability at the time of replacement.

Warranty includes items purchased from David Jones stores in Australia.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover general wear and tear or cosmetic damages (scratches, minor chips, stains, discolouration) to the cookware which do not affect the functionality of the product; the effects of overheating; the effects of improper use; the effects of improper cleaning; the effects of improper storage; deliberate damage, neglect or abuse of the cookware; cookware that was not purchased new directly from the manufacturer; cookware without valid proof of purchase; cookware used for commercial purposes.

Crumble Cooking Accessories (including Crumble bonus accessories)

1–Year Warranty

This product enables the original consumer to be covered by a 1 year warranty in the unlikely situation that your Crumble cooking accessory is found to be faulty upon purchase in its material or construction, or if it develops a fault or defect after proper use, cleaning and storage.

Please retain copies of original receipt of purchase direct from manufacturer and ensure care and use instructions are adhered to in order for the warranty to remain valid.

Our knives carry a Limited Lifetime Guarantee in the unlikely situation that your Crumble knife(s) is/are found to be faulty upon purchase in its material or construction, or if it develops a fault or defect after proper use, cleaning and storage.

Crumble Non-Stick Ceramic Range

The ceramic-coated cookware warranty covers the following items:
  1. Ceramic Coated Baby 20cm Fry Pan
  2. Ceramic Coated Large 28cm Fry Pan
  3. Ceramic Coated Deep Frying Pan 28cm
  4. Ceramic Coated 24cm Casserole
  5. Ceramic Coated 24cm Fry Pan
  6. Ceramic Coated 20cm Saucepan
The Crumble warranty is valid for a period of two years from the date of purchase.  The limited warranty is only valid for products purchased directly from Crumble Cookware and its authorised retailers in Australia and New Zealand only and requires the production of proof of purchase. 
The benefits provided under our warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law (if you purchased your product in Australia).
What does our warranty cover?
We warrant that the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from purchase when used for normal domestic use and in accordance with our use and care recommendations.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Our warranty does not cover any defects or damage caused by:
(a) failing to use the product in accordance with our use and care recommendations such as;Cooking with metal/sharp utensils such as a metal spatula or knife
Washing using steel wool, abrasive cleaners, bleach and other similar products
Commercial usage, including heavy and prolonged usage of the product
Thermal shock, burns, overheating, or prolonged exposure to the high heat when empty;
(b) Misuse or negligent handling;
(c) Accidental damage;
(d) Normal wear and tear;
(e) Exposure of the product to abnormally corrosive conditions;
(f) Consumable items or accessories that by their nature have limited lifespan or require periodic renewal;
(g) Freight or any other costs incurred in making a claim
(h) Accessories and cutlery
(I) Minor imperfections which do not impact the functionality of the product as intended. These include: Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, dings, scuffs, stains from ingredients and sauces, discoloration, color changes, minor paint chips, normal wear and tear, or other nonfunctional changes in the appearance of the product that occur during normal handling and use of the product by any party.
What are your warranty remedies?
We will replace or repair (at our discretion) product which is the subject of a valid warranty claim free of charge. A product presented for repair may be replaced by a refurbished product of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the product.
How do you exercise your rights under the warranty?
Please contact our Customer Service Department at support@crumble.coAs used in this warranty, “we” or “our” refers to Crumble Home Pty Ltd of Level 4, 830 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill,  Melbourne.
You must have pictures of the defect, the original proof of purchase documentation for the product and present it when requested.
You should take all reasonable steps and precautions to ensure that the Product(s) you order are suitable for your purposes.
You must follow any advice that we give you in relation to Product(s) (including instructions, user guides and/or manuals provided with Product(s)). We do not accept liability for damage to Product(s) that we have supplied where caused by your failure to follow our advice.
